500 hours logged on the base game. Space age feels restrictive and backwards. I'm forced into hacky solutions instead of organic discovery. Gleba is godawful design. I gave this a real shot - played to the start of the final planet - but I just can't recommend it. Disappointing.

2/10 - stick to the base game and mods.

Game is good other massive game-breaking bugs with missing pages.

I'm sick of spending hours looking for pages that don't exist - the game doesn't tell you what pages you're missing from what ages. Can't find the pages even after reading and watching walkthroughs. Poor QoL. Wish I could get a refund. What a waste of time.

This is the first game I've played in years where I had a spontaneous smile on my face. I can't quite touch type, so when I hit a groove and was able to do several words back to back without looking at the keyboard, the game hits this incredible place where I feel like I'm playing directly with my mind.

However, I can't even get close to beating the first boss at 103 WPM. That's not super high, but it's not bad especially given typing random words back to back with no spacebar or other punctuation feels unnatural. Same goes for bosses where the spacebar doesn't count for anything.

I also wish there were half as many upgrades that each felt twice as powerful. It's annoying to get pulled out of the flow of the game every 20-30s to choose an upgrade that feels like a marginal improvement.

Game has major potential and I will be coming back, but some tweaks are definitely needed.
