Midboss is a one-hit-wonder company, sadly.

Their only game is an 11/10 though.

It is what it says on the tin. A cheap-o tycoon game about game development.

It's got a pretty good modding community as well.

Update the game ffs, you wrote the code already.

---

Game itself is great, 11/10. Works brilliantly under Linux with Steam Play/Proton/Wine. It is, however, completely unplayable on Windows, the platform it's supposed to run on natively.

If you have a PS4 or Xbone, and are not technically inclined, I recommend avoiding this port like the plague and buying it for one of those platforms.

On my Phenom II X6 1100T/RX 580 8GB/12GB RAM rig under Windows 10, this thing would not run any higher than 15 fps. At 480p. On the lowest possible settings.

Kaldien's mod is just that, a mod. When it works, it presumably works well, but I for the life of me couldn't make it work, to the point that the game performed better without it. This was after eight hours of tinkering in game, and probably a few more outside of the game. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Under both Arch Linux and Kubuntu on the same rig, (except I removed 4GB of RAM to use in another system) I got a consistent 50-60 fps with custom medium-high settings, with the only dips to 30fps being the cinematics, which are locked/prerendered at that frame rate, and the last boss battle. Still, completely playable, no mods or anything, and 20 bucks less than your average AAA game.

Good story, excellent writing. Most importantly, colours was spelled correctly. 10/10 from whatever the UK equivelent to IGN is.

Hi [FRIEND_NAME_HERE], you have to check out this game. It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

There is absolutely no reason not to play this game. (as long as you like racing games)

- It's free.
- It's good.
- It looks good.
- It has a level editor.
- It has online AND local multiplayer.
- It has a replay feature.
- And most importantly, it is free.
- Also no microtransactions.
- And free.

EDIT: Works perfectly on Linux as well.
