I played all the betas with over 200 in-game hours and feel these negative bombs regarding the ToS/Malware are unwarranted and unfair to the developers. There's really nothing to worry about, they're specific to surveys and store purchases which are all optional. Steam has vetted the installable too.

Once Human is an incredible game. The graphics are amazing, pulling you into a beautifully detailed, post-apocalyptic world. The game play is super engaging and mechanics are refreshingly unique and I highly recommend it.
