Early Access Review
I've enjoyed my time in this EARLY ACCESS title.
I'm convinced that finding the right guild for you is key.
As a casual player I found things to do while not in a group: soloing, gathering/crafting, questing.
I'm looking forward to the progress and launch of Pantheon.

I don't have a lot of time in the game yet but I like it so far. If you played/liked the first one you will see the same core mechanics. There are new mechanics to freshen it up enough to merit the purchase. I see a touch of Stellaris influence as well with the quests and planet scans. The different 'races' do provide multiple playstyles/goals so replayability should be good.

I have enjoyed this game very much in the hours I put into it.
It definitely made me lose track of time.
Replayability is non-existant for me after 3 run-throughs.
First I played the campaign to learn the game and then I played the free-mode.
The third play-through could be free-mode on the hardest setting.

Pros:
- One more click type of game (or is this a con?)
- Bug-free (for me)
- Easy to learn
- Looks good for a simple sim

Cons:
- Late game repetativeness
- One framerate drop when multiple ships in one port

I gave this game a second try after owning it for over two years.
My first mission I torpedoed a ship's engines and mid explosion the game crashed.
I was hoping after plenty of time the game would be patched and playable for me.
The art-style is different than Silent Hunter 3 (my only other experience in the series) but I believe 3 looks better.
There seemed to be some improvements over 3 such as three shifts of seamen but if I can't play the game that doesn't matter.
Another gripe is the number of times I have to hit + to speed up time while traveling.

I've played through the game once on normal difficulty.

Pros: Looks really good.
Gameplay is fun
Not overly difficult or easy
Enough variety of weapons to satisfy most people

Cons: None really.. I am not a completionist so didn't find everything in the game.
No reason for me personally to replay it.

I ended up finishing the game with a completion percentage of 82.
I overall recommend the game. (espcially if you get it on sale like I did)

A very fun little game!
I enjoyed playing through it twice.
I got it on sale (50% off) and I think it was very good 'bang for the buck.'

Skyrim is one of the greatest roleplaying games of this decade. Beyond the initial game and its expansions the modding community have added almost an endless amount of gameplay for no additional cost. Skyrim is a world you can immerse yourself in and enjoy different paths to achieve your goals. As a newcomer to the Elder Scrolls games it may take a couple of hours to get your bearings but if you are a veteran of the series you will hit the ground running.
