Despite it's current stage of development the game feels as if it's in Early Access. Requires more work and refinement. Needs to deliver on the features it already advertises.

Better than the original

Game showed promise on release, years later it's still in beta but going crazy with micro-transactions for what should be part of the main game. Beyond that, serious neck-beard vibes from the developers.

Avoid

An improvement over Kingmaker, both in story and game-play. Instant classic. Only problem is how much time it takes for a single play through, and wanting to play it through more than once

The legendary card games *are* fun. This version of it less so.

The GUI is clunky. The game also thrives off of micro-transactions. You can unlock some items for free, but it would take hours upon hours to earn the required in game currency.

Also, if you're after just a quick bot game, the bots are beyond bad.

Hopefully Upper Deck re-evaluates

Game has had multiple updates since release - a good indie game with 5e rules - hope they keep releasing content
