This game has a lot of charm but a lot of problems. If you know 40k you already know the charm.

-act 4 is broken at the moment will destroy save files, so the game is unplayable beyond act 3.

-character progression is very complex and difficult to ascertain the value of choices at the beginning of the game, which is when you make the only choices that you will never be able to respec. rendering some characters dead: 7 hours into a run with a character who has no skill interactions because of a mis-interpretation in the mechanics, unable to respec to make this character competitive, choice to start game at prologue or forge onwards having allies with functional kits while PC flounders.

-Character builds are broken and most of them are redundant when next to soldier/arch-militant as the bonus movement, and bonus attacks that the class offers is one of the biggest damage sources through the game. Pyromancer is the on the box the damage psyker... with poor damage output unless a very specific build is taken.

-There is no functional heretical path in the game, making heretical choices will soft lock the game at several points, rendering the game unplayable in various ways, not to mention loss of valuable companions with no meaningful replacements, dropped story content, and broken dialogue.

-Producing DLC instead of fixing basic game functionality problems, obtuse respec system not being addressed, missing heretical content, dissapointing character progression, many skills are nearly useless.

-Full priced game? our standards are so low. its got a really nice coat of paint on the bit that you see through the packaging but when you try to play with it, its cheap plastic that breaks easily, and it has manufacturing defects, just enough for you to not be able to get a refund, not enough for you to have a properly good time with. I didn't want another warhammer product to be a regrettable purchase but here we are.

-Mods are available to ameliorate some of these flaws, mods should be additive not corrective. This product can be enjoyed but requires some sacrifices such as modding the game with cheat engines that can potentially further damage your save files just to have a usable respec system.
