Assetto Corsa EVO, while promising, falls short of expectations, especially for VR users like myself.

The lack of dedicated VR video settings is a major oversight. Blur is forcibly enabled, and the main menu assaults my eyes with pixelated rays. This immediately signals a lack of polish.

Configuring my Sim Magic wheel, Fanatec pedals, and generic shifter and e-brake proved frustrating. I couldn't even drive the starting golf cart! Forced to choose an automatic car, I ultimately abandoned the game due to unresolved control issues.

Despite this, I remain hopeful. I love Assetto Corsa and want this iteration to surpass iRacing, offering a compelling alternative. Consider this my plea, Assetto Corsa developers: please prioritize VR optimization and controller support.(wtf is happening with the controls? ) The potential is there, but it needs significant refinement to truly shine.

I have been waiting for this game for a long time, the trailers and talking points on the game are misleading, I don't ever remember them talking about spending 90% of your gameplay looking around empty dead maps that repeat themselves over and over and over and over, even the materials re-spawn in the same spots..... so that other 10% of the game actually defending your base against an on-slaughter of bad guys well that could be cool, but idk if i can put in the time to find damn copper pots and pans at what seems to be a pick and pull simulator.... DAMN i had such high hopes for this game.... the only thing i can see fixing this is taking out this whole damn exploration part and focus more on the massive battles and defense. I'm guessing 90% of the people purchasing the game figured that's what it would be.... you can still fix it! I will update this to a positive review the day you do ! ...... oh a good thing to say the intro was cool the game should have kept that pace and got cooler and cooler not awesome then dead....

lol the story telling in this is funny, uuhh its a racing game retro as hell. Idk what more you can ask for. It works. I am interested how the hell you can sell a game you totally ripped the Mario cart sound efx. But uuhh ya still fun!
