A must have for any 40k fan, but also a great entry point for those interested in the setting

Core gameplay is pretty rewarding, with a lot of the skills you'll pick up during the campaign being directly transferable to the PvE 'Operations' mode which to me at least feels like the primary draw for this game, though that's not to say the PvP isn't a good bit of fun from time to time

Whilst there aren't a ton of missions available for the PvE mode yet (7 at the time of this review, with the 8th just around the corner) the varying difficulty levels and good rate of progression does keep the experience fresh for some time

Lastly, and what has impressed me the most is the dedication the developers have put into this game, a lot of thought has clearly been put into what a 40K experience should feel like and it seems like the development cycle will continue for a good while. The transparency from the development team with their community has also been hugely refreshing in a time where it feels that there's a growing disconnect between studios and their players
