Factorio is pretty close to a perfect video game. That doesn't mean it's for everyone, or that everyone is likely to enjoy it. But the developers set out to create a particular experience, and hook a particular kind of player, and the game is unparalleled at that task. It is fascinating, deep, and incredibly compelling.

Amazing writing? Check.
Sick drip? Check.
Immaculate vibes? Check.
Engaging, thoughtful gameplay with extremely customizable difficulty? Check.
Cat? Check.

One of my favorite games in recent memory. Absolutely give it a spin. You'll know in the first couple levels if the writing is for you, but even if it isn't, the gameplay is more than good enough to cover for it.

A beautifully fun, silly, and compelling game about spreading the Glory of Managed Democracy to the Alien Invaders who Threaten Our Way Of Life. Combat is gripping and engaging, gameplay is varied and exciting, and the game is self aware and funny. Brilliant to play with a group of friends, but really must be played with others. The community is also remarkable, having banded together to persuade the publisher to reverse a decision that restricted or prevented access to the game for some people, especially those in smaller-market countries. o7

Two tips for playing this game:
1) Long rest way more than you think you need to. Side stories are told through camp events, and if you don't long rest enough you won't see any of the character development.
2) Whenever the game warns you about cutting off content, listen to it. Do *everything* you can think of before progressing.

Follow that advice and you'll have a grand old time.

A phenomenal game in the vein of Left 4 Dead, set in Minecraft's procedurally generated caves. Lots of fun, laughs, and challenges await. Rock and stone!

Rip and tear, until it is done. Then, maybe go back and rip and tear some more.

Destiny 2 isn't perfect. It has problems, and it can be frustrating to watch Bungie fail to address them, or address them badly and create new problems. But despite that, the shooting and movement are extremely solid, the looting is still fun and interesting, and the game is a visual and auditory feast. The lore is deep and rich, the community is fun, and the game has a massive amount of content for new and returning players alike. I am very excited to see where the game goes next, and I look forwards to enjoying many, many more hours playing this game.
