What happened to this game?

Had fun with it. Played a couple of hours of it, and i enjoy these types of games (played for story on easiest setting first playthrough, hardest on second, finished on easiest).

Things i would recommend for anyone wanting to play this game:

1.FOLLOW A GUIDE. There are tons of secrets/quests that can be missed. There are nonspoiler guides as well if you want to play for the difficulty (I wouldnt recommend starting on the hardest or you will get stuck at a couple of bosses).

2. Keep in mind that this game is setup for the next game.

3. This is an older gen game, so its plot and such is more reminiscent of jrpgs around that time (released 2013). Its design (layout and fights) kinda reminds me of persona.

If you do not mind a casual story with some tedious quests, then you should be able to enjoy the game. If you are looking for an extreme QUADRUPLE A GAME (or even triple A at this time) you will be extremely disappointed.

Keep in mind, you can speed up cutscenes if you are on your second or so playthrough. If you are speeding through on your very first playthrough, you probably dont enjoy the game... which i would recommend quitting at that point.

Their support was unhelpful/non existant. They do not care about anyone... Game has no casual game modes.

Activision support? Better be prepared to talk to bots that give you the same copy past "we dont care" answer over and over...

In its current state... it feels like a mess. Gameplay balance just feels wrong at higher tiers of play. Events feel mediocre at best and very unrewarding for newer players. The current anniversary "event" is a single token gain per ship (tier 5-10 plus super ships) and then you cant gain any more... no possible way for newer players to get the "free" ship if you dont own a billion ships already. Many of the rewards (looking at you supercrates) have been nerfed hard because "one player owned a bunch of ships last year, so everyone else must suffer". What point is there to keep grinding if there is little to no reward??? Cannot recommend playing this game in its current state.

On sale for $1 atm. Cant even get a mcdonalds cheeseburger for $1. Stop reading and buy now!!!!

Missed this game back when it originally released. Played automata and have been enjoying the game! Soundtrack is absolutely amazing!!!

very fun, extra spoopy. would recommend getting some friends to play with as it adds on to the fun of trying to smack a bounty target to death with your fists :D
