This is my honest review on Garfield Kart:Furious Racing. It is bug riddled, completely luck based and the mechanics are broken.

For my first statement about the game being bug riddled it is unplayable in multiplayer mode, where i watched my friend go through the floor, and my steering was inverted for 2 or 3 races which lost me the championship. This game is advertised as a realistic simulator, and i expected that. I am playing on my Wiimoteā„¢ wheel attachment and i can tell you its anything but realistic. The physics engine is out of date and there isn't any tyre wear mechanisms or re fuelling etc. I expect a first person camera in the next iteration of this series, and Realistic Garfield Graphics, in the game Garfield isn't as fat as he was in "Garfield the Movie" where he weighs approximately 40 lbs, but in this game he doesn't look over 38 lbs. In this game you also notice he is smiling a lot , which he only does when he sees lasagne.

My second point is that the game is completely luck base, it doesn't matter how far back you are if you get a Lasagneā„¢ Power Boostā„¢ or two you will instantly propel you into first and win you the race, which is not how it works in the real simulators such as Pac Man World Racingā„¢ or Sonic Ridersā„¢ where they simulate how a real race will go, and it is extremely skill based and there is a massive competitive scene where all worthy pro drivers compete. I cant see Garfield Kart going anywhere but the casual fan base, with all the dweebs who don't understand how a real competitive game is played.

Now for my third and final point, the game mechanics are not skilled based at all and you cannot compete with pure skill. I am iRacing class D, so i kinda consider myself to be eligible for F1 so i know a thing or two about skill based mechanics, as i am a very skilled racer so i should, in theory, be winning every single race i enter in ANY game, i play but Garfieldā„¢ Kart: Furious Racingā„¢ is the one game that i lose in, because of its STUPID mechanics, that make my blood boil every time i play. The game only accepts my WiiMoteā„¢ as a controller sometimes so when it doesn't work i have to use a puny Fanatecā„¢ DD1ā„¢ wheel, which does not have force feedback as good as my WiiMoteā„¢ in this game, which is a shame as i won the M&Mā„¢ Kart Racingā„¢ World championship by 50 seconds with my WiiMoteā„¢.

In conclusion, this game is in my opinion on the same level as Action Girlzā„¢ Racingā„¢ but it is still an improvement on the original game, in which my NASAā„¢ spec PC can't even run, even on the lowest settings, so it is still better than one game, but it is still not anywhere near the level of M&Mā„¢ Kart Racingā„¢ which , in my opinion is the benchmark for future racing games, and you should go buy that instead of this game as M&Mā„¢ Kart Racingā„¢ is just a superior game and it has support for my favourite input, the WiiMoteā„¢, so i don't have to use the ♄♄♄♄♄♄ excuse of a wheel that is the Fanatecā„¢ DD1ā„¢.
