Persona 3 genuinely shaped how I think about life, death, and the finite time we have to spend with those we care about. I first played the game almost 18 years ago when I was still a teenager myself, and it has stayed with me ever since. It was one of the first pieces of media to make me think seriously about my mortality and what it means to be alive.

On the surface, its about high school students fighting supernatural threats. But what makes it special is how it slowly leads you to deeper questions. You spend your days forming friendships, going through routines, and then at some point you realize that the story has been something much more personal. It doesn't hit you all at once, it builds over time.

The soundtrack is unforgettable. Not just because it sounds great, but because certain tracks become tied to specific memories and feelings.

As much as I do love this game, I do know it isn't for everyone. It takes its time and requires emotional investment. It still has pieces that are rough around the edges by today's gaming standards. However, if you give it your time, it gives you an experience very few other games can.
