ARC Raiders is a challenging but very enjoyable game that can be tackled alone but is best enjoyed with friends. From the open beta I've enjoyed discovering the secrets that dot the different maps and zones. Most of the early quests can be done without too much frustration but the difficulty does increase. Knowledge is power, and sharing what you've learned with new raiders and friends is my favorite part of the game. Collaboration is rewarded more than greeding in many ways.
The story is there, but I think could it use some more depth or reason why we should care about Speranza and the people who reside below.
The AI pose just enough of a threat to the player to create a good dynamic difficulty and PVP is enjoyable and can be very chance-based at times.
I hope that the developers continue to pour more love into the game and cultivate what they have and not try and change too much.
