How was this released in 2025 with so many bugs and not full controller support? Why?

Even a old stock buying bug came back years later.

No idea why I wanted to play back through this. Nostalgia I guess.

This mod is incredible! HL2 is an amazing experience and that is doubly true in VR.

The only downside I found of this mod is you as the player have an odd hit box. Some of the headcrabs would bounce off me without doing damage.

Otherwise, it amped up the HL2 experience in every way! And it's free! What more can you ask for?

Ignore any reviews from before Sept 2021. The developer made a huge mistake in not publishing smaller updates, but that doesn't matter to you now because the content is here and the full campaign is a ton of fun!

The game itself is a fantastic village management game but in VR, which is something I've been craving for a long while! It's done quite well, and though there are a few bugs as of me writing this I believe they will be patched shortly.

Both resource and production management combined with some combat round out the experience to what might be my favorite VR game yet! I'll be going for a second play through as soon as the next patch is out!

Edit after 1.0: Finished my third play through and thought this review does deserve a list of Cons:
Downtime - Waiting for things to happen, sometimes even just for quest events to happen
Hand Collision - Accidentally hitting guys, sometimes off the island. If you hear someone drowning you’ve messed up bad!
Physics - One time I went to set down my catapult and the physics went crazy and it was yeeted out into no mans land.

Would I still recommend? I did just say I played the campaign through 3 times!

Great game with lots of casual fun and they just added a 2nd campaign for free.

While I would have given this game a positive review anyways, because it's fun and well done, it's really deserves a glowing positive review.

Why? The developer's constant improvement of the game. One of the most requested features, the turntable, just made it's way into the game.

Sure they also posted an update which helped more color variation in game, but that also came with a slew of other features. One of these, Alpha Cutout, was something I personally was working around and I'm basically the only person who currently uses it. Nevertheless it's in game and I love it!

Fun game play, mostly 3rd person shooter, some rogue-like. Excellent voice Acting (Invader Zim anyone?), but short playtime. Pick this up as cheap as you can get it but don't skip this!

Simple casual fun. Fight your way through a mission and try to keep everyone alive. Upgrade so hopefully the next mission is easier.

I'm amazed that this game is still regularly updated and content is still added more than 3 years later! Can't wait to see what else is added before this game exits Early Access
