This should not be considered a racing game. It has casino mechanics as its core over racing mechanics.

WHY IT'S NOT A RACING GAME

This game reduces your racer's stats while going in first place to allow the players behind you to compete, but this race mechanic only applies if the algorithm decides that you're not allowed to win. The determinating factors are your racer level (artificial level based on how much time and money you've spent in the game), the number of tries and other stuff paremeters behind the scene.
This also seems to determine whether players get a teleport item that moves you an unknown number of positions above, allowing you to automatically go from 8th place to 3rd place, destroying any effort made by the players to defend their positions.

CORE MECHANICS

DRIVE: Ok.
Sense of Speed feels fine but inconsistent and does not match real speed. Addictive. Slipstream is noticeable.
HANDLING-GRIP: Good.
Arcade, Responsive, every character feels different.
HANDLING-DRIFT: Good.
Arcade. Challenging. Main aspect of the driving mechanics. Needed to charge the nitro bar. There's a bug (or a feature) where the car drifts based on the nose tip last position instead of your inputs. The drift button is a dedicated one which has nothing to do with the brake, this locks the car position based on its Y-axis rotation. This is a failure point in hardcore time-trials.
RACING-LINE: Average
Taking shorcuts it's important and it's challenging, which goes along with the different character sensations. The huge problem comes with the disability of controlling your car stats which are variable. Every lap you car feels different because of 'the balance' of the game.
RACING EXPERIENCE: Horrible.
Extremely inconsistent. The only engaging experience is a fair fight with you opponents; a thing that does not happen very often. You're usually over/under level.
BALANCE: Extremely bad.
Characters are very unbalanced, which becomes more evident with the leveling system.

PROGRESSION SYSTEM

The free stuff that must be earned follows the pattern of giving you 34 out of 35 pieces of any stuff in game, forcing you to pay for the extra piece that is sold in packs from from 5 dollars up to 60 dollars each, or play a a raking PvP that follows the pattern explained before and penalizes you for losing or for disconecting. This also applies for the random disconnection that usually occurs (3 to 5 times a session).
Lag is also a problem, but this can vary depending on your region. It is also not important in this bad structure design.
There is no skill level match-making nor even racer level match-making which makes you play with your lvl 15 character against a lvl 40 character only having the luck of the algorithm to play with. (Levels are locked behind the upgrade system)

Being very skilled only allows you to reach 2 stars racers (lvl 25) and a few 3 stars (lvl 35) without paying. Leaving you without any possibility to compete in top tier ranking PvP. It's not optional since you must reach those ranks to upgrade your characters, but you can't reach those without upgrading them in the first place. It's a false reward design.

PRICING / VALUE

Extremely overpriced. Over 10.000 dollars would be needed to unlock the full experience (price at november 2023) if you don't expect to suffer. Just as a reminder, the price of 5 upgrade 'shards' is 8.5 dollars at a 50% discount. You need 170 shards to BE ABLE to upgrade (this doesn't count the upgrade items nor the extra 10 shards to unlock the character). This is 289 dollars per character at discount or 578 dollars full price. This stupid progression system also makes buyers feel dumb, since you can earn the same shards with 30k-80k in game coins, which you can obtain in less than an hour playing events or in 5 days playing regular stuff. The huge problem is that those items spam randomly at the store, forcing people to check the store every 8 hours for months.
Neither the people who play freely nor the people who pay for this can feel it worth earning or owning anything, just the accomplishment of calming their anxiety created by this gambling FOMO system.

One of the worst PvP I've ever played. And an extremely obvious casino core implementation. Its design destroys any vestige of a good racing game.
I can only recommend this game if you plan to play locally without any intention of progression.

ALSO IT'S A BUGGED MESS. YOU GET PENALIZED FOR GAME CRASHES THAT OCCURS BECAUSE BAD PROGRAMMED PATCHES.
