An unassuming game that does a lot of things right and practically nothing wrong. Doesn't really have a strong gimmick to make it stand out in the Tower Defense genre, it just pulls it off really well.

Dislcaimer : I mostly played on a local server with a friend, as I had no interest in competing with strangers with more free time than we did. Despite this, we clocked several hundred hours just the two of us, exploring the island, taming dinosaurs and building up bases and hideouts. It really is a humongous game and receives frequent, high quality updates pretty often. Not only are there dozens of different dinosaurs, but each of them are basically "handcrafted". Very few dinosaurs share animations or sound effects, and most of them have special abilities that make them stand out. This surprised me considering the scope of the game.

The only downside is that the game is difficult to run. Spent most of these hours playing on low settings, but the game was fun enough to keep me hooked.

If you don't fancy competing with strangers who may really just raid and destroy everything you own while you are sleeping, try out a local server with friends. I promise a lot of fun.
