Interesting game, give it a try.

I really think the game itself is good. Lots of improvements from DDA, lots of good QOL choices while keeping a lot of the stuff that made the first game special (vocations, pawn system, world traversal etc.) The DLC/paying IRL money for in-game items is a bit scummy but tbh none of that stuff matters - if you played DDA you know that all of the items you can pay for either are easily attainable in game or you don't actually want to engage with it in an unlimited fashion.

The real problem with the game is that it runs TERRIBLY, like frustratingly so. I don't have the greatest PC in the world (playing at 1440p with a 3070) but I get 20-30 fps in towns and am lucky to maintain 60 in the world with relatively low settings. I really am so frustrated by how the game runs, for how it looks I'd assume I could at least maintain 60fps on all low settings however this isn't the case.

If you have a very strong PC with the right settings I'd say the game would be fine (assuming it runs well) however as of now I'd say wait to see if performance patches fix these issues.
