Firstly the fact that in order to connect your existing game account to steam (a feature promised almost 10 years ago) you have to buy the game over again instead of getting a free key or paying a symbolic price 5$ or less.

Secondly you would be crazy to assume the developer learned anything from past update launches and prepared the infrastructure for literal hundreds of thousands of people trying to log in at the same time (they didn't because that costs money).

Many hours in and I can't really say that 1.0 was worth the wait. AI is still absolute poo poo, the trader animations feel like assassin's creed 1 from 2007, there's stability issues, performance, crashes. Generally not a good game, spend your money elsewhere.

Game is missing a ton of features that were expected, a lot of skills that for 10 years were greyed out with a text "not available in the current beta version" are just gone. The tedium of trying to even get into the game hasn't changed at all, the QoL changes were symbolic at best since the UI is till clunky and unresponsive, you get the same bugs you did 5 years ago. Even having a pc that meets frankly unrealistic requirements to run a Unity game with no visual appeal can't possibly guarantee you a stable framerate over 60 not to mention anything higher.

Let's be honest most of the content of the game are weapons because neither the map nor quest design is anything to write home about.

Playing PvE really showcases how boring the game is. If you take away the interactions with other players there's nothing left.

"Pioneering the extraction shooter genre" is a very funny claim because if Tarkov was a good example of an extraction shooter the genre would be called Tarkov-like, instead you get this lukewarm waste of money that underdelivered and will always be remembered as a game for sweats.

Game is aight but the playerbase is full of children and non bilingual russians.

After battlefield 4 i thought they couldn't make a more pandering safe campaign but i was so wrong.
The multiplayer is nothing like bf3/bf4 either the maps feel tiny despite some of them being the same size or even direct copies. I hope my refund gets processed cause I'm not planning to spend a second more in this joke of a game.

It's a fun game but needs a lot of polish before I can leave a positive review.
