Looks pretty good and fills the levels with tons of new content. Some rough edges like music streaming issues.

Hoping there's DLC for NEW levels down the line

REALLY hoping for a steam workshop for custom levels. Please playtonic

This game is terribly clunky AND OVERTLY GRINDY.

Gameplay is just running around to find new guns because your weapons lose ammo and get weak over time.
Your character moves at a snail pace and sprint regens slow.
your guns still don't have an aiming reticle to show where your shot will land.
you can't make builds attached to certain characters like in Zombie Ville USA 2, and there's no perk limit, meaning you can stack everything you buy.

YOU CANNOT PICK UP AMMO YOU NEED STUPID AMMO PERKS.
wouldn't be problem if they were affordable, but every new perk you buy scales in price (like +10% increase) so grinding becomes TEDIOUS

I'd have fun if the game just allowed me to shoot zombies with the guns I want to use but its just a giant fetch quest for chests to get guns with 3 clips worth of ammo

No new updates since March 2025. It's a cool attempt at the classic, but just give us Zombie Ville USA 2 on steam.

This game perfectly encapsulates the atmosphere of Nintendo 64 games. Down to the shifting music when you enter water or sub areas of levels. For some reason I was expecting 8 worlds but this game only had 4 worlds (with some micro worlds for one collectible.)

My only gripe with the level design is the game is very confusing with some portions. and world 3 is hard to understand and required me to back track a lot. I was also not a fan of the jump mechanic. Too many platforms required that you used the extra height from double bounces and ground pounds to clear. Tons of ledges also wouldn't properly work and Fynn would just fall. World 4 also had these chain ropes you had to grab onto and platform to the next one. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why I couldn't climb to the top. The Hub world also confused me as I thought the layout was similar to Grunty's Lair from Banjo Kazooie. I thought more parts of the hub were accessible from the current segment. All four parts of the worlds are connected from the starting position. I also didn't think that the other siblings were required, I thought they were optional skins

Even with all the problems. I still enjoyed this a lot. hopefully this game get's bonus content and worlds.
