If you're on-the-fence about getting this game, then just get it. The world, characters, and progression are so profound and novel (compared to today's landscape of games) you'll wish all games were this innovative and original.

Pay-to-win was never a discussion in the executive meetings for this game.

Here's some FACTS about the game: we'll NEVER see Ray-Tracing in the game, "Movement Tech" WILL get you killed, a voice on comms will win you matches.

Don't let the CoD propaganda sway you. This is a real shooter that demands REAL skill.

Time to Git Gud.

Initially, I (and many others) loved the novelty of the game.

However, after the release of Season 1, and then again with Season 1.5, the game's performance stability (not just graphically but across their servers/network) have taken a massive hit.

It feels more-and-more like the game was built and released as a PC or Console port of a Mobile game. And with only 3 servers to choose from in the U.S. ... it gets rough trying to figure-out where/how I and my friends are having such drastic performance and connectivity issues.

The other thing to consider, is that we play competitively [in high tiers] in several other major games, without any such issues, and all built on the same engine.

NetEase needs to reevaluate what they're doing and how they plan to move-forward with the upkeep of this product.

Early Access Review
The controls and GUI are kinda janky. I found that "C" is another crouch control, but isn't noted in the "Controls" scheme. However, despite that, it was worth the sale price because it plays and feels like a game built in 48hrs.

10/10 would shoot my infected teammate again.
