As a disclaimer, I've always loved the Cook, Serve, Delicious series. I loved CSD, and I loved CSD2 even more. I was elated when I found out another CSD was coming out, and I think this is a great new take on the series. While CSD2 felt more like a true sequel in that it built off what CSD1 set up, this feels almost like a spin-off in a good way. The whole formula is reworked and the gameplay loop is pretty different from 1 and 2. I like how you can control the level of difficulty now and make more granular changes, and the tweaks being made during early access have helped a lot. The new foods are great, and the menu is now so vast it almost feels overwhelming (in a good way). My one special shoutout is for the soundtrack. The first two entries in the series had good, if unassuming, soundtracks. CSD3, though, has absolute earworms for tracks. Seriously, send help because I can NOT get some of these tunes out of my head. It is a truly wonderful soundtrack that captures that feeling of being out on the open road. I'm really excited to see how this progresses to its full release and will absolutely be buying a copy for my PS4 as well.
