jumped straight into it after DS1 and oh boy was it weird, it definitely took some getting used to because of how different it was from DS1, but i think thats good. trying different stuff is always neat, tho i can see why people say "oh its not dark souls, it doesnt feel like it so it sucks blah blah" But i think that gives DS2 its charm... im gonna try not to compare it a lot to DS1 but its gonna be hard since its my only point of reference but anyways...

first of all. this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BEAUTIFUL. DS1 already had a lot of gorgeous scenaries and views but man this game takes it to another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level. Genuinely better lighting than some modern games it kept blewing me away until the end.
About the story umm.... I need to read up more on it because its kinda a lot. Like i get it we're an undead looking for a cure and all the lore about vendrick and stuff i get that but i know theres more tiny details which iwant to know. But overall it was really cool, especially Vendrick's fate which actually hit me pretty hard. I think that was very well done and all the lore surrounding him and Nashandra is pretty interesting. What i didnt get was Aldia's character and why we fight them. I must have skipped over some stuff but i'll still read up on it.
NOOOOW..... all the gameplay-wise stuff and mechanics and ♥♥♥♥. The movement imo was jankier than 1's... Felt like i had less control over what i wanted my character to do than in the previous game.. I've seen people complain about the hitboxes and ♥♥♥♥ so i thought every enemy was going to have abhorrent hitboxes and hit me from 5 meters away but it was genuinely only Sir Alonne and Fume Knight where i experienced that lmao. Never really saw it anywhere else. About the new stuff that 2 added... THE HOLLOWING SUCKS. I HATE THAT. ITS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ANNOYING!!!! THE REDUCTION IS SO MUCH TOO THEY DONT HAND OUT THOSE EFFIGY'S LIKE CANDY BRO!!! "just dont die" Suck my left tit and jiggle the right one. Anyways. Lifegems are kind of lame. Once u get Estus Flasks u genuinely only use them like once every 3 hours of playing and thats it. POWERSTANCING IS REALLY COOL IDK IF ITS IN OTHER GAMES BUT IF ITS NOT IM GONNA KMS. I wish i used it more but i didnt want to put a lot of points into dex or str.... Enemies having a respawn limit is genuinely the most lifesaving thing ever with some of the runbacks in this game Thank you Fromsoft for not making me more insane than i already am. Bonfire Ascetics are also a really good addition. Kinda broken for souls and easy to overlevel with them? Maybe... But its still cool.
NOW THE BUILD VARIETY IN THIS GAME IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ INSANE I LOVE IT I LOVEEEEEEEHOW MUCH COOL STUFF THERE IS. The spells are sick. Theres so many sick weapons (The bosses may be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but some have cool weapons, more on that later!) and oh MY GOD THE FASHION IN THIS GAME, TRULY FASHION SOULS. ♥♥♥♥ DEFENSE YOU CAN LOOK SO SICK IN THIS GAME I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOVE IT! Theres so much replayability potential you can always use something different ALSO SOUL VESSELS. All of this goes so well with the fact they let you respec, which, they give u a lot of them aswell. Love u lots fromsoft buddy. And ohhhh boy... bosses... runbacks... some areas..ohh
DS2 definitely went for quantity over quality with the bosses... But i give them a pass. The bosses arent meant to be everything the game has you looking forward to and if you actually think that, You're Stupid! But yeah most of the bosses arent really that good infact, i cant name you more than 50% of them.... But when they shine oh boy do they shine. Sir Alonne, Sihn, Fume Knight, Smelter Demon, Mythra, Veldstadt (i changed my opinion on him), Aava. Its a not a lot if you compare it to the total amount of bosses there is but ♥♥♥♥ are they good dude. OH BOY THE AREAS AND ENEMIES AND RUNBACKS. Probably my least favorite thing in this game. The enemy place is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Awful. Its just "RANDOM ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GO!!!!!!!!!!" Over. And over. And over. And it just kept getting worse as the game went on. If they didnt have a respawn limit i probably would have liked this game way less but whatever. we dont talk about fridgid outskirts and its almost infinite respawning Kirins. just. be thankful its optional. btw iron king dlc best dlc hands down not even a competition #ItsTrue.
Im probably forgetting some stuff i should talk about but whatever its getitng too long. In short, Dark Souls 2 is great. It was a great experience and i could tell that when the credits rolled. Undeserving of the hate of people who probably havent played it. It was peak. 8/10

technically not my first souls game since i played nightreign (my bad) and a bit of ds3, but with how different it is from those its basically me starting from the beginning. and ohhh boy this game is somethinggg
LOTS of highs but with also some lows so im gonna get those out of the way; i dont have the best sense of direction so it was really really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy for me to get lost in these areas and just had me running around for like 30 minutes trying to find where to go, might be intentional but i still didnt like it and it was probably the thing i liked the least about this game Sorry for being dumb. And speaking about level design... oh boyyy lost izalith.. what happened... Lost izalith ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS. Yes it was rushed but whatever You cant just put a giant pool of lava and fill it with enemies bro thats not a level thats just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Bed of chaos also didnt even feel like a boss it felt more like an obstacle course with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ donkey kong trying to stop me from getting to the goal. Also, really? Fire asylum demon. Seriously. Whatever thankfully this is the biggest issue i have with the game and it only happens in this area.

Nowww the good stuff. Basically the rest of the game excluding that. The scenary in some areas is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gorgeous for a game this old, the creature design is great aswell with Seath being my favorite even tho his fight was ass (more on that later) And oh my goddddd the armors and equipment in this game are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Beatifulll my meat started talking to meeee!! Not a single armor set in this game goes below a 6/10 in terms of design. Genuinely amazing. NOW the difficulty... The real pain in terms of difficulty for me were the areas instead of The bosses, the most i spent on a boss was probably Kalameet? Which took me like 2 hours i think. But most of the difficulty in the areas came from straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (THE TWO ARCHERS IN ANOR LONDO IM LOOKING AT YOU ♥♥♥♥ WAS GENUINELY HARDER THAN GWYN) And i really wish some of the bosses were harder because i was genuinely so hyped for both Seath and Gwyn and they were such let downs... But its whatever. The game thankfully peaked at Artorias and im thankful for that because my godd that fight was beautiful didnt even get mad when i died.

ANYWAYS. I liked DS1. 8/10 Will replay it soon

One of the first games i bought when i got a new pc, and genuinely one of the best games i've ever played.
MHWorld was my introduction to the MH franchise and man, it did not dissapoint. You can do so much stuff in this game, it has infinite things to do. The ecology and the world building is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ phenomenal, the cast of characters even though they're not that fleshed out they're still fun to have around and if you hate The Handler i'll just assume you're like 12 years old and dont like women. And the story, well its Monster Hunter, mediocre is the best you'll get but its better than nothing.
