I don't hate Cyberpunk 2077. The game-breaking bugs that I've experienced were often one-offs, but the current unplayability that my game still currently has is massively disappointing. (I was unable to play the Delamain quest for months, but the dev's solution has resulted in a series of buggy calls that were meant to be prompted months ago prompting all at once and so far, it's left my FPS decimated, and my call screen with an annoying staring competition between me and a taxi AI). I had resolved myself to wait some time for more stability improvements before I had returned, only to find that my game has gotten EVEN WORSE. Around launch, I played the game to just short of the main story's end, and even with the occasional graphical errors and dropping out of the world, I still had some enjoyment for the game, even despite my constant disappointment over implementations that didn't make it, and locations and systems that felt obviously neglected. New players of the game hopefully won't have to go through the same issues that I have, and if they weren't someone that had heard a single one of CDPR's promises for the game, and if they choose to ignore the many little places and things (including items that don't even do what their in-game description says they do--looking at you, Gorilla Arms), they'll get a cool, neon-clad FPS with awesome characters. For anyone who hasn't gotten the game and didn't pay attention to any of the pre-release hype, I'd say that you're getting what you pay for, and even though the game still isn't well balanced, and the AI will probably never be "perfect", what you're getting isn't really comparable to many other games on the market. While I'm still pissed that my game is--y'know, broken--I'm definitely going to either reattempt to finish it, or restart the game once the Samurai edition becomes available.

I now have an aversion to poetry. Do not play if you want to keep liking poetry.
