Wow. When I first heard of this game it didn't interest me at all. I saw a friend stream it and I knew I had to get it.

It's like a simplified DJ simulator.

You mix and match tracks from different songs, use instrument pads, and effects to make a "mix".

The campaign is a bit tedious on purpose. It's meant to teach you "the basics" of all the features. There are a lot of features. I flew through it the first time, it helps unlock the instruments, effects, and a few great songs. But trying to get 5 stars on it all can be a bit annoying. You have to give up making "a good sounding mix" in order to alternate tracks to meet the 5 stars. There were definitely some amazing moments while doing that. You won't 100% always get something sounding right, BUT WHEN YOU DO YOU WILL FEEL LIKE A GOD.

Freestyle is where the game really shines, you take all your knowledge and experience, and mix non stop. You select a good amount of tracks, some instruments, and some effects before each set.

But then there is multiplayer. WOW. A friend showed me this Game, so we decided to jump in. You choose up to 3 rounds, and the length of each round can be 32 bars, 64, or 128. You'll understand that when you play.

32 bars is like you're playing ping pong with music and run off each other's tracks. We did this where we setup a master track then only used instruments and effects. Sick.

64 bars is like you're both showing off to a crowd what you can really do.

Then 128 bars is like you're both holding your own concert for each other and the crowd. All of it is amazing.

We then jumped into a public lobby where it was 3 of us and one lucky viewer. The way the 3 of us mixed was wildly different but always sounded amazing. Truly an amazing experience.

For streamers there are "stream approved" songs listed for you but wow does that limit things. I stream outside of twitch so I don't worry about that stuff, BUT STREAMING THIS GAME MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE DOING IT FOR REAL.

Viewers constantly popped into chat just to express how amazed they were even though they legitimately never had any idea wtf was going on. I would just say it's a dj simulator and that was always a satisfying description.

Also, I've never really made a review like this. High recommend for anyone that likes music and rhythm games.
