The game's a nice continuation of FITS and the devs are taking feedback into account, fixing some of the more abnoxious balance issues.

I purchased Hades II in early access - because I liked the first game so I would eventually buy the second anyway.
Then I decided to just launch it and check it out.
Then to beat the first boss.
Then to go a little further.
Now I'm 24 hours in and not sure how to stop and put the damn thing down until it reaches full release.

It's already got more content than the first game and plays about as well. In my time I've reached are some temporary assets, but they are very few, even compared to the first game in lat-ish stages of EA by my estimation. The overall difficulty is somewhat higher (maybe I just need to get more upgrades though) and some encounters may get a little bit too bullet hell-y to me, but that's the most bad thing I can say.

I'd say, if you liked the first game, definitely get it and better play on release, probably, but if you can't wait Hades II is pretty fine already.
If you haven't played Hades I though, play it first. It is still great, it will allow you to understand the story better and it will make the wait for release easier.

This is just absolutely heartbreaking...
Helldivers 2 was my GOTY candidate. I love the game and the dev team seems great, providing us with awesome community support and updates. This is also the only time I've ever donated in a premium game.

However, Sony has made such a heinous decision to make a PSN linking mandatory AND unlisting the game in regions where gamers are unable (basically by Sony's decision) to make a PSN account. I currently live in Kazakhstan, a country Sony excluded from PS network in 2022 allegedly for having the same phone code as Russia, and has done nothing to fix the situation since, despite numerous requests and pleas by Kazakh players.
Seriously, I feel like by this situation alone Sony has become one of the worst anti-consumer publishers on the market. Such a shame it had to happen to a publisher who owns and publishes so many great games and IPs.
PS kudos to Valve for accepting refund requests given the situation.

After the hilarious The Walking Dead series this one was an insta-prepurchase for me and now after beating the 1st episode I realize it alone was pretty much worth all the money I've paid. Sure, it's just a couple of hours so far, but that was two hours of awesome and thrilling story, noire atmosphere and really cool characters!
Of course, if you do not enjoy interactive fiction, this one is not for you, but otherwise it's a very solid and well-performed adventure. Wow. Just can't wait for the remaining episodes now.

One of the most EPIC stories ever. And probably the best story presentation.
Also includes some decent shooting, nice graphics and an infinitely cute and pretty deep main character's sidekick. :)

The dead walk the earth, everything is plainly BAD, and no matter what you do it's only gonna get worse...
One of the best games atmospheric-wise I've EVER seen. One of the only games that makes you really care for an NPC.
