My favourite VN and story, finally on steam. Well worth the asking price and has some of the most touching scenes I've ever witnessed. Each character is nuanced and feels human in their reactions and emotions. There are also a small handful of wonderful minigames that break up the story to stop it being a chore to play through, although they can be skipped if you so wish. The art, soundtrack and voice-acting are all equally beautiful and stellar examples of good direction and skillful execution! Very highly recommended.

This is my review for the third incarnation of the DiRT series and eighth incarnation of the Colin McRae Rally series; DiRT 3. Some may not know too much of the Colin McRae name nowadays though. As a childhood fan of his, the series and rallying in general I decided to pick up this on sale in the '14 summer sale and it sat in my library doing not much for a long time until this rerelease.
As most are well aware, this version includes all DLC previously released and removes the abhorrent GFWL DRM. The visuals of the game are rather pretty especially for a game thats been around for over 4 years. The soundtrack is pretty dull but very quiet and quite easy to ignore especially as there is no in car audio, which I personally like. The driving experience is rather poor with keyboard so I would recommend using either a controller or a driving wheel if you can afford one and I'd also recommend playing on the "hardest" difficulty setting and then changing the ai difficulty if needed as the game gives way too much in the form of assists. The amount of vehicles in the game is a little less than I would like but theres still enough to create variety. A large problem is the amount of tracks in the game though as each of the rallies are just one short track cut up into stages of around 30 seconds to a max of 3 minutes in length and the trailblazer tracks are almost exactly the same and I feel the cars should have longer intervals before being released from the start. Rallycross events give more variety but are rather dull in my opinion. Land Rush events are particularly annoying as they restrict to only one single vehicle which are particularly difficult to control. Gymkhana is mostly just a pain in the ass and can be ignored for the most part.

TL;DR Its a fun game but lacks content to be interesting for more than around 50 hours. If youre a more hardcore rallying fan the DiRT Rally may shape up to your desires but as it is in early access the end game is still quite a way away

My my this game. I absolutely adore it! There are a lot of games where the gameplay is fast paced but severely lacks any control. Cloudbuilt however gives you the chance to control it... after you die a lot at first. A lot of reviews say this game is hard at first and, yes, it is but dont let that put you off! So many times Ive messed up on a little jump or a boost and thought: "darn now im not gonna get an A!", but I keep trying and when you get a good score you feel so good about it! I swear this game is a counter to my depression! >w<
But in all honesty I could probably play this just for the soundtrack because, oh god is it beautiful!
Anyway, when alls said and done, you should probably give this game a try! Even if its not your forte.

After playing this game through twice and achieving both endings I can safely say that this has one of the very best stories ever! The soundtrack and beautiful art style make it so addicting and I just want to play it through over and over again.
Probably one of the very best indie games out there.
