Love or hate the experience, it's a wild ride. And winning is the best reward you'll ever get. Frustrating to get there, but you'll get there eventually, and you'll know it was worth the struggle

Early Access Review
So... How do I start... I'm a huge dinosaur fan and it's been kind of exhausting to find a good dinosaur game, with great visuals and gameplay. And also to factor the "accuracy" of the dinosaur representations.
I found it in the Isle. So, let's start with the review.
To begin with, to play the real game you should move to the developer branch of the game. The default version of the game is pretty outdated. That being said

Pros:
>Amazing Visuals, sound and effects
>Simple and Engaging Gameplay
>Dinosaur Models are just, OMG, I can't put to words how beautiful.
>Global/Local/Group chat

Cons:
>Still in development, therefore outbalanced
>If you want a good experience, good luck with the server you're getting into. (A discord community can help in communication in Server. Since that's not included, well it's a con, since chats aren't useful while you're being chased by a carnivore)
>HUD and menu feels kinda outdated (HUD not so much)
>You need a bit of time to get a hold of your situation, took me a couple days and some frustration.

Grey area:
>Types of gameplay: Survival, Progress and Sandbox. Sandbox is just playing around. Progress is a pain, you start as a small dino, which is hard to survive if you can get eaten so easily and to get to a higher tier dino like that... And Survival, which is basically you choose a young stage of a dino, and survive to grow and live. Best one of them all.
>Since it's still in development, we can only hope for the good things to come: dinos, stats, animation, possible maps, gameplay mechanics. etc.
>The human element (tribes and mercenaries) not yet included. Should be a con, but i care more about the dinos.
>Strains. Artificially upgraded dinos. Still in development, not usable.
>As of now, sandbox (and progress i think) has most dinos, but survival only has a few. We have to wait until their optimization and integration into Survival.

So yea, as of now it's a really great game imo, since i'm a casual player and like to hang out with people, forming packs and roaming around to survive. If you're a more engaging gamer, it's still quite a good experience. Try to avoid bigger ones, because you'll have a bad time (Darn spino chasing me forever because i killed a baby carno because i was hungry as hell. You're not even related). I can tell this game has a really bright future

Really great game of an alien sea planet exploration and survival. Still on early access but it always delivers great content with each update.

I love this game. It's awesome to meet people and then just start a base, a community. As a mac user, i have to run it in minimum, but i'm ok with it, the gameplay and theme is what matters, the graphics are a plus (tho it'd be really awesome to run it full graphics).
Non-dedicated servers are the best option for casual players since they have tweaks in the gathering amount, xp, and taming time. If you play in a normal server some taming will take forever, but on other's it'll take you half, a third, even a 100th of it depending on the settings.
Haven't bought scorched earth, the price is a bit too high (2/3 of what the actual game costs) but the new theme/mechanics and creatures i think are great. It's an addition to a great survival game.
Maybe i'm fanboying because i have a fascination for animals and prehistoric creatures. This game has many things i love and couldn't find in any other game. If you guys think it's overpriced, there's always sales.
If you took the time to read, thank you and enjoy the game.

This is not really a "bad game" review, but because of late experience...-
Game is good... or was. Lately it just kicks me out because it stops working after I login. Tried uninstall, install again, doesn't work. I use a Mac. A friend tried, same happened, he uses windows. So... yeah, i think it's a good game, it was fun to play, but it hasn't let me play it for over 2 months... so, yeah. If you wanna try, go ahead. I hope you have better luck on this
