This could easily be a standalone game in its own right—a wildly fun experiment from FromSoftware.

I have to admit, based on the trailer I expected the combat to be underwhelming, but it feels solid when actually playing. As a longtime fan of the series, I think Bloober Team did an amazing job recreating this classic.
