I don't normally write reviews, but this one legit made me stay for the story more than the "plot". While the scenes are great, the story kept me playing for longer than I would have expected.

A good start to a new way of playing Civ, however some balance issues are glaringly obvious from a few hours into the game. Primarily with Alien unit strength and your own units, especially with naval units.

Hoping Firaxis does some updates soon to address some of the issues but still a solid Civ game.
