For Ultramar and for duty,
For past and for future,
For Terra and the Emperor,
No brother falls forgotten.

Utterly incredible.

Play the campaign with friends. You won't regret being able to rip and tear with your bros and point and scream at the lore drops as a group. It makes it so much more enjoyable soaking in the magnitude of utter chaos and destruction that Space Marine 2 has to offer, and being able to share every thunderous moment with your comrades as they unfold. Space Marine 2 improves on the original in nearly every single way. The gameplay is complex and no longer is it a mere button masher. Tactics are needed in your approach otherwise you'll be torn to shreds in no time, especially in higher difficulties. A single boss-fight alone easily outshines all of the bosses of the original - no boring QTEs here. Even the writing is taken up a peg, showing the callous arrogance of inhuman intelligence and the subtler emotional side of men born in a world of war.

Ran on a laptop with a 3060 - experienced some very occasional stuttering but was otherwise able to run graphics at high with 45+ FPS. Experienced no crashes and no connectivity issues.

Helldivers 2 is truly a wonderful game. It is a labour of love that paid off and gave the players exactly what they wanted - a fun co-op shooter with great mechanics, graphics, and no obnoxious monitization.
However, it was rat-♥♥♥♥♥♥ by Sony because they want to make it look like PSN is more popular than it is and trick their investors into thinking they aren't failing as a company.
A cautionary tale for anyone thinking of publishing a game with Sony.
I cannot in good conscious recommend the game until Sony rescinds its decision.
I am casting my vote as a citizen, for the love of democracy. Make Sony listen to us. It's the only way.

EDIT: WE WON. SUPER EARTH WON. DEMOCRACY WON!

Early Access Review
AFTERBURN is a snappy, easy to control, visually vibrant arcade dogfighting game. It's really easy to pick up, a breeze to understand, and generally a joy to play. The gameplay is extremely fluid, and the controls are intuitive, though the inability to remap them can be an inconvenience to some. The largest downside to the game for me is an insane level of difficulty that comes at higher level missions, where the skies are swarming with enemies and a single hit (or close to it) is enough to bring you down. It makes the harder missions downright infuriating.
However, overall the gameplay is very satisfying.

Anno 2205 is one of the worst examples in recent years of the decline of the video games industry. Once a vibrant and well enjoyed series, Anno has hit it's lowest point with 2205.
Dumbed down gameplay, microtransactions for resources, a Bejewled-esque partner app, and a season pass advertising specific DLC only weeks after release makes this latest Anno game a complete letdown.
The most drastic changes that seasoned Anno fans will notice are:
- Removal of interfaction combat, limiting combat to small prebuild NPC only quest maps.
- Dumbing down gameplay mechanics and limiting player control over urban development
- The addtion of special resources to spur development, only obtainable through Ubisoft Club interactions, a partner app game modeled after Bejewled (which will make any Anno player feel like a 12 year old) or through direct purchase.
- Removal of the use of navies and boats, as they no longer serve a purpose
- Removal of trade routes, transfer routes are now only used to transfer resources between owned maps
- Removal of diplomacy options, having replaced diplomacy with a simple "buy island" button
- Removal of environmental effects, which provided a challenging and interesting mechanic in Anno 2070
- And many other features.
All of these reasons contribute to an overall extremely unsatisfactory experience, and I cannot in good conscious recommend this game to ANYONE.
