This somehow improved upon every single aspect of the first game and ended up being one of the best gaming experiences you could ask for. Fantastic character design and art direction, a captivating and (in my opinion) fulfilling story, huge variety in gameplay and an abundance of things to do without ever getting boring. They took perfection and perfected it.

This might be the easiest 10/10 I have ever given.

I came in expecting an idle game that I could play for a couple minutes at a time and keep closed while I go on with my day. Unfortunately there is no offline production until you unlock a few upgrades later into the game - and even then it's very limited. It's a fun and addicting experience if you don't mind that, but it's definitely not what I want from an idle game.

I got this game from Humble Choice and decided to give it a shot, not knowing that it would captivate me in a way that few other games could. While playing I completely forgot about everything around me and got lost in a beautiful and fascinating world. If you like reading this is a must-play. It's one of those games I wish I could forget about and experience all over again.

Came for cute slimes, stayed for the systematic destruction of the stock market. Slimes are still cute though.

Don't get this if you're planning to play it with friends. While the game in itself is fun, has good combat & parkour as well as a great soundtrack, the online experience got me extremely frustrated.

Lots of bugs and constant disconnects, crashes or softlocks. At some point we spent more time restarting our games than actually playing it.

I don't even know where to start. To me, this game is as close to perfection as it gets. Gameplay, diffculty, level design, story, art direction, soundtrack, it all comes together to form this beautiful piece of art.

I've never experienced a difficulty curve as smooth as here. The game takes it slow, lets you learn the mechanics and master them at just the right pace. It always remains challenging without throwing too much at the player. And if you're still having trouble? Just turn on assist mode and customize the gameplay the way it fits you.

If it's not obvious from the screenshots, this game is beautiful too. I'm not usually a guy who likes pixel graphics but Celeste has so much personality that I can't help but adore it. What's even more impressive is that every level has its own unique look without distracting from the actual gameplay elements. Even though they blend in with the rest, you are still able to easily percieve what can and what cannot be interacted with.

The soundtrack completed the experience for me. Always good, always matching the atmosphere and always getting stuck in my head.

Fantastic game. I'll probably replay it every couple of years.
