great atmosphere, exceptional exploration, good story (with multiple playthroughs!), really really fun start to finish. boss fights could use some work i guess but the combat's fine most of the time. 9.5/10

It's not perfect, but it's very enjoyable. The hate is super overblown. Yes, it's DLC-bait, but so are all paradox games. If you don't want that, don't buy it. But if you're okay with some DLC and want a good classical war game, get it.

Good game, but Ubisoft seriously needs to stop trying to make deep twist endings to games. It doesn't work.

Classic game. Pretty outdated but still worth the buy b/c it's cheap and one of the pioneers in the genre
