If you enjoyed Castelvania or Momodora you might enjoy the combat of this game. Although after finding the gambler the game becomes a lot more easier handling monsters with relatively powered gear you've bought, and the amount of items too, can keep you very safe. It's kinda unfortunate that around the 4th stage, the gear you have deals out a lot of damage quickly that the enemies don't have time at all to showcase their attacks. You'll coast through hallways around the final stage where there is some level of awareness when fighting monsters.
Other than that, I really liked my experience. The bosses are a bit challenging and the spells and movements provided, test your ability to utilize them in combat.

Neat game. A minor complaint from this game is clicking and dragging objects to check if they're movable. I got stuck for a good 10 minutes on Chapter 3 because the label with the fingerprint didn't move when I first inspected it . Like I said it's minute, it might just be my fault but that was mildly annoy to realize.

I played The Room 3 first so seeing familiar models connected me more with the story, so were the notes. Can't believe their next game is in VR! I'll give that a shot.
