Finally they stopped nerfing everything to the ground and feels like everything is viable for most difficulties. The game can be actually fun regardless of what loadout you have. No more seeking for META gear, just have fun with what you like.

Disappointed since the beginning. They ask 50€ for basically a version of KSP from the early days. They took 1 year to deliver one step of the roadmap that brought KSP2 more or less inline with a KSP of 2013. Now the parent company has decided to layoff the whole studio. This game will never see a next big update... let alone Colonies, Interstellar or Multiplayer, my main points on interest for such a title. Why would I ever buy/trust this when the original is, funny to say, years ahead the sequel.

What can I say. I've been playing since 2013 more or less. The game was great, F2P users could grind in a decent way, and who choose to pay could easily grind through the trees in a matter of months and things were more or less fine until a couple of years ago.

Once they started the powercreep to more and more modern vehicles, they started to aggresively monetize the game, where right now you NEED premium vehicles and premium account to be able to barely enjoy the game. Certain nations you're guaranteed loosing money while doing good matches because how broken the economy is.

And I won't even touch the helis or ships, where as Defyn said, it's better to become a content creator and ask Gajin for access to those trees. It's far easier to grind a 5000+ subs YT account rather than the helicopters or ships themselves. Without talking how frustrating it is to actually play it.

Until things changes, stay away from this crap. Not worth your money.

I would enjoy playing DMZ... if it wasn't for the constant "Disconnected from Steam" or crashes mid raid

The experience of playing Arma Reforger has changed significantly since its launch. My original review came from a place of genuine frustration; the game was nearly unplayable for me. High network requirements caused constant lag, and I couldn't even use Discord while the server browser was open. I even considered giving up on it entirely. However, the experience has been completely revitalized over the past two years, aided in large part by my upgrade from ADSL to Starlink.

Bohemia Interactive has clearly been hard at work. Beyond the technical side, the game has grown with new content and a thriving modding community. The support from Bohemia, along with the passionate player base, has made Arma Reforger a more complete military simulator. While hit registration can still be an issue, especially on some of the more populated servers, it’s a far cry from the unplayable state it was in before. The game has come a long way, and I'm confident that with continued support, even this will be addressed.

It will probably never replace Arma 3 content-wise, but that game has been in development for over a decade, with mods ported from earlier Arma titles. With enough time and dedication from both the community and developers, I'm sure that Reforger, or Arma 4, will continue to grow in detail and quality that Arma 3 can only dream of reaching. If you tried it early on and were disappointed, it's definitely worth taking another look.

Months after release, I still can't play the game. Network requirement are way too high. I can't even talnk in discord if I'm in the server browser...

Happy to support bohemia, but this is just too much.
