WHELP, that's a gg... Thoughts out to the Devs who got screwed and players who fought tooth and nail for this game... There goes a whole lotta peeps... Can't even buy the game anymore(this is no longer true, they reinstated it for sale) no more updates, cash shop still open in game, that's how done Amazon with this. Run screaming for the hills, I used to be an avid supporter TRYING and TRYING to see the positives. The latest update was a last second cash grab. The voice acting is completely abysmal, there is zero effort and the original voice actors for main story people have been replaced with generic read the lines for pennies (or straight up AI). Morgaine sounds nothing in Nighthaven like she does in the rest of the game. This is actually the shadiest thing I've ever seen. They should have told us they were stopping development when the new update came out but they knew nobody would play. I was trying to get a couple friends to get in the game finally and I'm glad they didn't. I even have a youtube video of trying the game in beta. BIGGEST KICK IN THE FACE. At this point, can we even boycott Amazon? They're EVERYWHERE. ♥♥♥♥ it, boycott Amazon, Luna, and Judge Snoop!
Switched to a positive review because Amazon doesn't care anyway and I support the devs who tried, that and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I did play in the game.

Sucks they are getting review bombed, game seems fine so far. Only gripe i have is no bald options, beards are lacking, and there's no way to change your character's voice currently according to google and the discord. More customization is coming through the salon though apparently so maybe we will see that soon. In terms of feel though game is great

Concept is fun, characters are also fun, i've played 3. It's free and the negative reviews are ridiculous. First thing I thought was how good the game felt to play, read another review in all caps about how its trash, it feels like trash, dude needs to go find another hobby than rage reviewing on games and never actually playing any.

I wouldn't mind leaving a mixed review, but all the haters man geeze. I have a pretty meh pc these days, 1080 with a 2700x ryzen cpu. It feels like the first time everyone uses a skill I get a spike of frame issues that iron out after the first fight generally. I just stay back for the first fight or swing my mouse back and forth to try and render everything from the map to preemptively remove any hiccups. Other than that, honestly the new building system is pretty fun. There's TONS more options and even a whole new secondary active system. At first the extra buttons overwhelmed be, then i just put all 3 active item buttons on my skill buttons with an additional button press i.e. holding shift and pressing 1, or in my case, mouse 5 then q for active one. This way im using the same buttons as my skills for item actives with just one additional button hold. Now, characters can build either intelligence or strength (magic and phys) which means crit ymir is back. They are also introducing "aspects" into the game that generally alters a characters playstyle pretty drastically. Thor becomes a self healing tank, yemoja becomes a damage MONSTER. Still needs a lot of balancing, but gods/updates come out at a good pace. People are pretty mad about the legacy gems, but they award you premium currency every single day you log in and the favor system has been completely removed. You have the new diamonds and the old legacy gems. I've gotten so many free classic skins using ONLY the legacy gems, but many things will require a mixture of both currencies or just more premium if you don't have legacy gems, which again you get every single day just for signing in. Each god has its own battlepass with free diamonds and emotes and what not, you get even more if you unlock the premium track. OH and in assault, which is still pretty new, rerolling is free since there's no favor. Every god rerolled goes into a pickable roster and you can freely trade between gods that have been rerolled allowing you to better "choose" a team comp in the midst of the chaos. With people being able to build both mag and phys there's also less issues with a 5 man primarily magical team (less viable on some gods keep in mind). Honestly, the game gives me WAY less frustration than Marvel Rivals, but you prolly won't see me stop playing that either haha.

every single time they update, my mouse buttons break, currently the game is registering my side mouse buttons as ctrl and q for whatever godforsaken reason, about to thumb down

Just here to offset all the whiners. Game is fun, mechanics are fun, mechs are fun, customization is top tier. Cosmetics cost money boo hoo. All the misleading reviews about the least important part of the game tanking their numbers is a little silly. But that's just the world we live in eh? Pdiddy goes free and the hordes of mouth breathers get all juiced up on baby oil copium over some cosmetic purchases.

Game no longer has multiplayer when the original purchase was made to play co op with my fiancee. We played it a while back in co op when it was a demo and had a wonderful time, even with the limited content. Sad it was either continue upgrading the game or rewrite everything for multiplayer and they chose to take the quick route instead of the longer route that'd allow people to continue enjoying the game the way it was originally presented. Maybe it was closer to the original goals of the dev, but there seems to be many people with a similar story.

Enjoyed the free weekend a bunch. Combat felt good. I liked the different classes I tried (Warrior, Hunter, Priest) they all felt unique and impactful. ALso, being surprised by additional weapons was pretty great (Priest Kamehameha was great lol). I didn't feel like the stunlock issue people seem to be having as long as I watched my stamina. Also, remembering the block meter is separate from stamina took a little bit. Side note, my fiancee would appreciate a pve mode (extraction shooter pvp players are a little too rabid for her taste) as she really did enjoy the game until we got ran down for a while by two rogues. Hopefully there's a way to implement it without splitting the playerbase! That being said, this is your baby, stick to your vision devs, so far you're doing great in my opinion.

I was actually coerced into getting this originally. I had been bored with what I THOUGHT was this style of game, I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun all of it was. Everything from shooting to calling down airstrikes feels meaty and punchy and satisfying. The team damage makes for some hilarious antics as well between friends. With frequent updates and Joel helping to shape the overall war in real time, the game feels fresh and fun whenever I hop on.
