SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT BUY!

This is not a game worth of 70, 60, 50, 40 or even 20 USD. Even more now with season 3 that the game became pay to win.

On top of that, the game is full of bugs and it is clear that we should NOT give one more cent to Activision. This company needs to learn a lesson which is to respect their players.

From my side and my friends, this was the last COD we bought. There is no way I'm spending one more cent for a half finished game that only sees us, the players, as a milking cow.

The only positive aspect of the game is the amount of different game modes. Even though most of them are bugged (especially DMZ).

great game! A game that brings you back to the roots of gaming: having fun solo or with friends, sharing your screen. We need more of this!

Amazing game in all aspects!

Played on different platforms and in all of them I was satisfied. But this last Deathinitive Edition is for sure, the way to go!

Loved it!

Being a fan of the series and, of course, expecting D3 to be a game, at least at the level of its predecessors, I have to say that I'm nothing but disappointed with it.

It's just a big disappointment to wait for +/- 6 years for the 3rd game of the series to come out and in the end, this is what we get.

Starting with the character (which has nothing to do with the characters from both D1 and D2), what you get is a toon which is idiotic in all senses. First the skills available are useless and the way the character is adapted to the storyline of the whole series simply does not fit.

Then, the game difficulty. I mean seriously? If the game's purpose would be to dodge enemies in the perfecting timming, they should have changed the name to "Dodge it perfectly 3". And no, I'm not saying this cuz I'm a crybaby. As I mentioned before, I'm a fan of the series and played both D1 and D2 for hours and hours and hours, so I'm aware of the games' mechanics and the difficulty applied to the Appocalyptic mode of the previous games was waaaay more acceptable than with this 3rd tittle.

The checkpoints: there are no save games or something of the sort. If you want your progress to be saved you have to find your way to the next Vulgrim. Only then your game saves.

There is no MUSIC. Yes, you read well, there is no MUSIC appart from the some cutscenes and some rare parts of the game. Very envolving.

I could go on and on with other aspects of the game that left me just wondering if the 4th game will be such a disappointment as this one. I sure hope not for the sake of an awesome serie. (of course I'm refering only to D1 and 2)

If you didn't buy this game so far, and you would buy for the story only, don't!

The game is funny if you play it on normal difficulty. Anyhting above that, just requires way too much training and even so, you would hardly beat all of the challenges( unless you play it for years). That said, I find the achievements ridiculously difficult to obtain.

It has an interesting storyline and some funny combats. If you are a samurai fan, you will have tons of joy! However, it differs from the regular MGS in terms of gameplay.

Overall, would give a 6/10.
