Masterpiece.

Amazing storytelling and tone setting, and the relationship between Kratos and his son is the highlight of the game. The combat is nice, the puzzles are not annoying, and the environment is breathtaking.

What a beautiful, beautiful game.

Spiritfarer is a story about loss, about acceptance, love, and grieving.

Spiritfarer is soft and simple, silent and melodious, beautiful and serene, nuanced and heart-wrenching. Most of the video games I'm used to playing are all about instilling thrill at defeating opponents and enemies. But with Spiritfarer, there are no villains. No time constraint. No world-ending doom. It's just Stella the Spiritfarer and the journeys of others who, one by one, must inevitably depart the visually-stunning in-between they inhabit.

The ambiance, the conversations, the hugs, and above all the music make Spiritfarer what it is. No other game has ever before filled me with such sorrow, and yet Spiritfarer has managed to do so over and over again and over again.

This is art. This is how developers should be making their games: by listening to community feedback,being passionate, and infusing interactions with exquisite levels of detail.

Anything by Supergiant Games is a win, but with Hades they truly take it to the next level.

Simply brilliant. Great RPG mechanics, the world is immense, visually stunning, and engaging, and even the DLCs are really great and expansive.

As good as always, though I wish they'd implement their later updates earlier. Regardless, fully recommend!

I was hesitant to buy this game at first because I was used to and more fond of playing open-world RPGs, but I took a leap of faith and was well rewarded. This is a really interesting game with quite a lot of freedom for character customization and such; it's really just kinda quirky and unique. Fully recommend.

Absolutely brilliant. Exciting and immersive and finally bittersweet. Many of the earlier negative reviews were due to the loot boxes system, which WB has already partially and will completely remove in June, so take them with a grain of salt. The DLCs aren't really that great, but the base game is an extremely rewarding experience.
