Early Access Review
This game SHOULD be great and I hate to be that guy, but as it currently stands it falls short due to some fundamental issues:
(This is Early Access after all, and so this is the time to be suggesting improvements to have the best chance of them being fixed prior to the full launch)

1. Progression
The BP Skill Trees completely ruin the progression in this game, especially given this is how you unlock every car & upgrade beyond what you start off with. On top of this, BP is a finite limited resource which means you need to think how you invest in things otherwise you could risk missing out on things like certain cars or even worse upgrades that you may want.
To only make things worse, the maximum amount of money you can hold at once is hard capped and can only be increased via perks that you need to unlock and then spend BP on buying which really seals the deal on a already terrible progression system. I really can't think of any good reason as to why they did this because it is frankly miserable to deal with given how easily you can cap out the wallet due to how slow the progression can be at points which means you just end up throwing money into a void or being forced into pointless investments.

2. Physics/Handling
This is a compound and complex issue, but I'll do my best to explain it in a relatively concise manner. First off, grip in this game is so insanely over-tuned to the point of it being a detriment. Wheelspin of any kind is almost impossible to achieve, aggressive speed scrubbing occurs if you turn just a little too much and the car feels almost as if it is glued to the road in such a way to practically remove all nuance from the handling (even on stock tyres). It also has the side-effect of neutralizing the handling choices you can make because the sheer amount of grip means they end up not really having much of an impact.
This is all further compounded by the existence of some kind of auto-countersteer that cannot be disabled which seemingly kicks in at the feintest possibility of oversteer. Problem is that this pretty much always serves as a detriment rather than an aid because it actively fights against what you want to do, leading to very twitchy/snappy and unpredictable controls (especially when combined with the insanely overtuned grip levels).
This ultimately creates a handling model that feels very counter-intuitive, frustrating and dull at all upgrade levels and irrespective of handling configuration, which for a game which involves a heck load of driving is simply just not good enough.

These may not be easy things to fix, but I do feel they are 100% fixable. If they do get fixed then I'll happily throw this review in the bin and praise the game till the cows sing, but for now I just sadly can't do that.

Probably the most bizarrely engaging game I've ever played, I honestly couldn't tell you why I've enjoyed my time with it so far to the extent I have, but I'd be lying if I said otherwise.
With that being said however, the game is super rough around the edges and isn't exactly the most friendly to newcomers, so be prepared to pull up some guides/wikis in case you get stuck or confused.
Now time to get back to getting my daily Brouzouf fix (I swear I'm not addicted)
