I love a lot of things about the game but ultimately the lack of guidance as to what you're actually supposed to do to progress made it unplayable after a point. It's unclear how to complete the quests, not in a "puzzle" sense but in a "this was designed badly" sense. Ultimately I was spending more time searching online how to do things that should be either intuitive or well-explained to the player that it wasn't fun anymore. Disappointing because I do really like the mechanics and story.

One of the rare older games that actually holds up with time. The first couple chapters are a bit slow and feel repetitive, but the game steadily intensifies over time and the twists still pack a good punch (even knowing the ending beforehand from having played it before, it was just as effective the second time around).

The sound design is really good and I feel like for when this came out, the enemy AI is not horrible. Weird favourite thing is shooting the replicas in the foot and they start to hop around.

Had a bout of nostalgia and felt like playing this again. Not the "best" game in the world, gets somewhat repetitive and predictable, but it's a good fun game if you want something to just chill and stomp aliens or whatever. I remember the sound design being really cool for me at the time and liking the art direction, and I think those still hold up pretty well.
