There are many reviews for this game, so I'll keep it (relatively) short. As someone who was never a big fan of LotR games, this was not only the best one I had tried, but easily one of the most fun gaming experiences I've had all year. Yes, it can get repetitive once you've gotten a couple dozen hours into the game, but there is something about the gameplay that pushed me, someone who rarely if ever gets the urge to do everything in a game, to find and explore everything the game had to offer (part of it definitely being the hierarchy system which has been discussed thoroughly by other reviewers and the media).

The only real negative about the game is the laughable attempts at DLC that have been released so far. Sadly, some people will see this and not take the game or its developer seriously, but there should be some actual, meaty DLC released soon, and in the meantime I advise you to simply ignore the crap that's available. Hopefully they expand the story significantly since, as mentioned before, there is a point at which there needs to be more narrative to push the constant orc-slaying.

As for optimization/graphics on PC, the game looks and plays beautifully, but you will definitely need an above average rig to play on ultra settings or high setting above 1080p. This isn't a "Crysis" type situation, and the game will run smoothly and look good even on lower settings, but the higher end effects and such are worth it if you can afford the FPS.
