I played the original map and then the oxbow map. Love this game.
And the systems remind me of survival in Eastern Europe when you don't have electricity.
I've seen a well like the one you can build in real life in use today!

Even ages later I keep coming back.
One of my all time favorite strategy games.

Love the setting, the systems in place.
Would have liked to spend more time on multiplayer, wished CA had left the censorless chatrooms because the names of those rooms were funny as hell and the crazy things people posted in them were all jokes testing the lack of censorship. Was pretty funny to see people actually exposing their hatred towards each other and then realizing they had common ground and then going for a game together.

With the updates and fixes its become an AOE I enjoy playing with friends just like I did with AOE III.
I like most of the faction choices also. Looking forward to more DLCs and FLCs.
I will be buying the DLCs as this game is now flushed out enough for them to add a lot of replayability.
Masteries are kind of fun for unlocking visual things.

A good RTS with a cool time setting between the age of knights and the age of gunpowder. Nice biomes from Africa to Asia going through different parts of Europe.
Overall quite enjoyable, not a stressful strategy game, not completely casual either.

I loved the Red Alert games but my favorite C&C game was Generals.
The 3D/4D aspect of the battlefield with planes, helicopters, infantry, tanks, etc was crazy.

I get that feel from Red Dragon and this franchise because of air strikes, calling in units, fast paced movements, artillery. I love this game. I wish my friends played it more.

I will be buying WARNO, the next iteration in the series and hope it will fix some campaign map glitches, allow players to create maps and campaigns and upload them to the workshop and add countries, even a worldwide campaign with NATO vs Warsaw Pact would be awesome. Multiplayer campaigns would be amazing. If you haven't bought this game wait for WARNO in a month.

Cossacks back to war was my favorite game for about 3 years. I played it via LAN with my best friend at the time. That age is gone but at least I can play the nations I loved to play, so all of them except the Italian ones and Algiers. Haha.

This game is great if you like Age of Empires III or capturing Switzerland's peasants and rebuilding a better Switzerland! God I love this game.

When it first came out the ferries were glitched completely but many things have been fixed. I wish I could work with this company!

Great game to play with friends.
Survival, construction in a weird very modifiable world.

You can kill stuff, what most people do, or you can farm, cook, ride a horse, make beer, sell stuff, build ships, conquer territory.

I liked playing this solo when it came out. I enjoy playing it with friends more. Not being able to zoom out very far is annoying but not unlike most older strategy games. I usually bank on the Dutch and go all trade and imperial canons but I've won or lost this game in every way possible. Enjoy, test the different countries and their playstyles and find what's right for you.
