good game, fun to speedrun. ADD FRIENDS LEADERBOARD though, would be cool to compare with my other friends that play

If you're reading this, keep in mind most of these negative reviews come from the fact that the game had some server issues on launch. Which by the way, isn't surprsing because the devs are from some triple A game studio, and the game instantly became top of twitch with 120K players on at the same time on release. Also, the server issues got fixed pretty quickly once they noticed it was going on (which was about an hour or two after release). All in-game costumes/items can be earned through winning/earning "Kudos", so complaining about monetization or the battle-pass (which is free) makes absolutely no sense. The only criticism I can really have for the game right now is that it lacks a big variety of game-modes, but they themselves have said that they will be adding more, and probably for free too. I have no issue paying $20 for this game, and I'm sure many can agree with that despite the review-bombers. With what game modes there are, it is a fun and infuriating experience to play this game sometimes, just the way I like it. I'd say give it a try, or at least wait until new game modes if it matters to you that much.

A great game, really worth buying.
