What this game has is a pretty decent mobster story. Cab driver to gangster, and his journey through it all. But that is all it really has. It's an extremely linear game that is given a very large map.

There are no side activities of any kind, and there is no reason or reward to explore during any segment of the game. More than half of the time I spent is probably just driving, wondering if something will happen.

My recommendation is if you play this game, turn on the "Skip Driving Segment" option, start your drive, wait for any comment from any people in the vehicle, or the news you might want to listen to, then skip the driving. Because the driving is massive padding of your game time where nothing happens.

The gunplay is also very rudimentary, and not fun. It becomes a chore after a few gunfights.

All in all, it's like playing a visual novel in 3rd person mode, with annoyances sprinkled in between.

Edit: Oh, and the map is quite huge. But they did nothing with it. Why put us in a massive map when there is literally nothing to do in it? It's just making my rides longer. Seriously, skip them if you can.

I bought this game for $20. At $10 per person, I still feel that I wasted my money. We finished this game in 5 hours, even with us doing random stuff like playing darts, connect-4, and other random mini-games; which we probably enjoyed more than the game itself.

This game has an interesting concept; force co-op, and have the players work together toward a goal. It isn't new, but the near constant split-screen is interesting. But everything else about it is not good.

They force the split-screen, but never actually have a reason for it all. You gain nothing from having it this way. So the one unique thing that it has going for it didn't have a pay-off. There was 1 part where it was 1 player in fullscreen, with you changing from 1 character to the next in a pretty seamless order. But weird part is how 1 player had odd bits like a short 2D fighting side-scroller moment, while the other is just pure running segments.

The voice acting is all over the place. Some of that are decent, but most of them are pretty bad. The scripts are also lackluster, with most characters barely saying full sentences. The sound effects are sub-par; the guns, whenever they might be shot, sound and feel like pea-shooters.

The story is also not good. If you think you're going to play this game as mainly one where you and your buddy escape from prison, know that the prison escape is very short. There are very few segments on the prison escape, with most of the things happening outside.

The police in the game are extremely incompetent. The sneaking segments, the way they just stop chasing you in the plot, and so many other plot-holes is just mind boggling. When you play games, you need to have a suspension of belief; that is normal. But this game is ridiculous with how much they expect me to do so.

I also was not invested into the characters in the slightest; they try to make you care, but the backstories aren't delivered well, in both timing, pace, and tone.

Ending spoiler: The twist at the end was interesting, but felt forced. The bond that they might have had was not built up well, and the forced option of 1 of the characters needing to eliminate the other felt odd. It's especially weird if Leo killed Vincent; the police just apparently gave up?

I keep getting back to this point, but it's just extremely unbelievable; so much so that it made me cringe a lot. There is no replayability, and actually experiencing isn't fun or rewarding. I'd strongly suggest you spend your money on other games. If you do want to see what this game has to offer, I strongly recommend you just watch other people play it. If you are adamant in trying it out, wait for a sale. I'd still recommend against it though.

All in all, By the time I was 2 hours in, all I wanted was for the game to end. It was disappointing, cringey, and not entertaining at all. It's all subjective, but that was my take on this game.
