The quality of life updates almost make it impossible to go back to the original,
Story feels a bit shorter coming from subnautica 1 but some of that can be excused from being used to diving into the unknown, while in the first game every new step needed convincing yourself.
I wish there were a bit more big alien fauna as weird as that sound because each of the existing one is already giving me nightmares.
But needlessly to say I am grasping at straws to find criticism to this absolutely wonderful experience
this game sucks you in like few other things.
A wonderful execution of openworld survival craft, that shows love to detail in world building and I wish some other games would take inspiration from.
