I finished the first Age and the game keeps crashing so I cannot advance to 2nd age. I do not have time to play over and over again. Did not happen to me with Civ VI ever.

Like World of Tanks in space. Make sure you do not make any hasty decisions when choosing ships specially when advancing a tier or the game gets rough.
