The base idea of this kind of FPS is fairly interesting at first, but like most 'battle royale' games it falls flat pretty quick. Some people may love this kind of gameplay, but for me its shallow. Essentially every round plays exactly the same and are unnecessarily long. This is my main problem, ignoring all the Early access issues (bad :servers, optimization, anti cheat, hit detection, sound, physics etc etc)

At the start of each round you spend most of you time running around hoping to find a decent weapon,in the hope you don't meet someone else who already found one. Then run to the safe zone, hoping you don't die from someone camping in a unknown location. Rinse and repeat.

Too much time running around for nothing. You could get the same results and more action by using a map 1/4 of the size, rolling the dice and giving everyone a weapon at the start, and then playing the game mode out in 10 minutes rather than a hour.

Edit 2019:Game plays like its still in Early Access, cheating is rampant. All they've really done is rammed it full of micro-transactions and added more maps to keep you playing.Save your money

Enjoyed the free beta. However wouldn't buy this at full price. £10 or less maybe. Game plays like a F2P moba in 3rd person view plus a couple of duel/deathmatch modes. Enjoyable but very limited in terms of maps and lots of repetition. Peer to peer servers and auto matchmaking are the worst things. Lots of disconnecting, getting matched with unbalanced teams, takes forever to load etc etc.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is better and cheaper.

Good idea/concept (would like to see a sequel), nice visuals, runs well but........ features douche bag 'bro' commentary which you cant turn off, auto matchmaking system for online only (enjoy being matched with bad pings), non existent 'keyboard friendly' driving physics (feels like FOV just changes the longer you hold down accelerate), strange collisions physics (like every car is a bumper car,all contact results in a bounce off the other car + spin), limited track layouts, laborious menu system.

Would recommend if you like games like need for speed/burnout. Wouldn't recommend if you like driving games where it feels even remotely like you are driving a car

(Don't let the hours deceive you. Ive been playing/testing since march 2015)

This is a real spiritual successor to rct2. It takes everything that was great about the classics and expands on them making them better,it doesn't try to 'reinvent the wheel'. Ingenious implementation of the basics e.g saving files to .png format (view the park as a image with basic windows functionality)

Devs are open and honest,no media bullshitting here. You will hear exactly whats happening and how they plan to implement it if you ask.

Regular updates and progress. Weekly progress reports and insights into development.

Full mod support. If there is something you want to achieve, you can probably do it with a mod.

Early Access Review
Better looking version of Kf1. Lots of gore and graphics look nice, gameplay can be a bit repetative (shoot down the lane). Crate and key loot system seem unnecessary. Lost some of the comedy charm from the original, gained some annoying voice acting (french accent commentator why?).

Entertaining overall but doesn't offer much more than what killing floor 1 did, except visuals.

Early Access Review
If you want to play a modern W.I.P full contact racing game, that is a hybrid of rally cross, banger racing and destruction derby events look no further. Ive had hours of fun even with the limited classic cars and few event available mainly due to the style of racing and ever changing racing line (espiecially online on the short tracks).

There are bugs here and there and a general lack of 'finished product content' but with each updates there are improvements and a bit more to play with.
