Pros:

- Most game modes are fun, especially Gauntlet, where 8 teams participate in minigames, and the 2 bottom scoring teams get eliminated. Lots of action and feels very high-stakes, and encourages teamwork. Escalation is also very action-packed, where objectives get removed over time, making the later stages very intense as both teams fight over the same few objectives. Strikepoint, Domination and King of the Hill are also great, small-map based gamemodes.

- Weapons feel mostly balanced. No particular guns feel overpowered, and ou will generally see a large variety of weapons, rather than a few weapons dominating the meta. The animations are also very high quality.

- Classes mostly feel balanced. In every team, there is a good variety of classes. Every class has a clear role. Unlike in previous Battlefields, there are no restrictions on weapons for classes, permitting a wider range of playstyles. For example, the Recon, which by default has a sniper rifle equipped, can also equip an SMG for stealthy close range gameplay. Supports by default equip a machine gun, but you can swap this out for a shotgun and aggressively push, while throwing down smokes to cover your team's advance and reviving people.

- Some maps are very well designed and balanced BUT this heavily depends on the gamemode.

Cons:

- Breakthrough and Rush are very poorly balanced; attackers win the vast majority of the time, because some objectives are almost impossible to hold as defenders, but this depends on the map. Tanks specifically in these modes are extremely oppressive. You will often get sniped from across the map with them, and they are very difficult to flank / destroy, because of the location of the objectives. Oftentimes, attackers will end up with multiple tanks, making defending extremely painful, and attacking boring, because you will simply steamroll the enemy team.

- While no weapon feels overpowered, there are some guns which clearly underperform compared to others. Most assault rifles feel underpowered, as they have very high recoil and poor accuracy. SMGs often beat them at long range.

- There are occasionally some game-breaking bugs. Sometimes you are unable to deploy and so cannot play the game at all, forcing you to quit to the menu. My friend will often crash while playing Gauntlet. Sometimes you will experience extremely harsh lighting that completely overpowers your vision, and you cannot see anything; it is like staring directly into a flashlight.

- Some attachments are underpowered compared to others. Suppressors are almost mandatory, because most other muzzle attachments will cause you to show up on the minimap and place a marker over your head, making you a very easy target. Certain attachments cost too many points to equip (e.g. larger magazines). The dot on many scopes are too large, blurry, and dim, making aiming more difficult.

- The Assault class in particular feels too weak. Their primary gadget, the adrenaline injector, is near-useless. It gives you a slight speed boost but only after a long animation, which can often get you killed. The deploy beacon is useful but only allows squadmates to spawn on it, and breaks when the deployer spawns on it. Their grenade launcher feels too overpowered, as it can easily one-shot you and has a large blast radius.

- While the graphics are very good and realistic, player visibility is very poor. I have to use thermal scopes on all of my weapons simply to be able to see people properly.

- Sometimes you will spawn and immediately get killed, because an enemy happens to be already looking in your direction. There seems to be no spawn protection. This can be quite frustrating.

- Weapon levelling takes an extremely long time.

- Lack of maps and weapons, at least for now. Later seasons will hopefully remedy this.

- Some maps are poorly designed and / or unbalanced, but of course this is subjective. Blackwell Fields in my opinion is a terrible map, as there is very little cover.

Overall, despite these downsides, I am still having fun playing BF6. Would recommend.

Campaign and multiplayer are both great, however this game does not really make you feel like a space marine:
weapons in general feel very weak and movement speed feels very slow. Weapons often take an entire mag or more to kill the larger targets, on top of being very inaccurate. Space marines in the lore can sprint very quickly, but in game it feels more like you're playing an ordinary human weighed down by a suit of armour. If you are looking for a space marine power fantasy, you may be disappointed.
