A no brainer if you're into WW2 naval warfare. The devs & mod community ensure longevity/replayability with new features & campaigns. Historically accurate (customisable to not be) mods extend the base game in orders of magnitude! Is endless fun for newbies & enthusiasts alike.

Build planes, space probes, manned crafts, space stations, bases on moons/planets. Do anything NASA & private companies did, are doing, plan to do and some even they haven't thought of. The possibilities are endless! Your imagination's the limit.
