****CONTAINS POTENTIAL MILD SPOILERS****
TL;DR at end

You will not like this game.

At least at first.

Then slowly you will see details which add to the experience. Small things here and there. Big action sequences, story beats, challenging enemies, etc. A growing story about existentialism and our relationships with other and ourselves.
You get into the story and throughout the game, it demands your attention and commitment. It wants you to think of it outside of the times you are playing it.
Your perspective changes. You play differently. You learn more and your relationship with the game grows.
Then it reaches a point where you wonder why is it that you keep playing it? Is it because you still love the game (and realise you've been playing for a longer time you thought you would) or because it's become the norm?
Maybe a bit of both.
It is here that you come to see that your relationship with the game is at a fork. You either commit to it even more and go for the end game quests and tasks or you call it quits and finish it. I chose the latter.
Just like a relationship in real life the game creates one with the player and it will change over time and in some cases, flourish whilst in others simply fizzle out.

Do I remember it fondly? Absolutely, it is a game that I enjoyed for a long time, had great memories of and will look back on it with a sense of joy.
Do I want to spend more time with it? Not any time soon or perhaps ever again. Maybe see it for a quick coffee every now and then and catch up but never really doing anything more than acknowledging that we once had a thing.

TL;DR:
It's a great game if you allow it to be itself. Don't judge a book by it's cover and be open to what it wants to show you. It's a game more about you and it than killing robots (but that part is fun enough too).
Rough around the edges (use mods for all that is good) and let the relationship grow. You'll know what I mean.
Lastly, don't feel guilty about not liking the music that much. I'm there with you.

Great puzzle platformer with the hacking element that makes it fun to go through it a few times. Some small branching story elements but nothing you cannot finish in a single satisfactory finish.

Great looking old-school shooter. Brings back the days where you had to know how to run back and in circles to stay alive and bunny hopping was unheard of. Interesting mechanics with only two modular guns (ammo and electric based). Worth playing through a couple of times. Oh, and new content came out too. Go give your 'S' button a good work out!

Platforming at one of it's best. Harder than most people think and so rewarding that it will keep you coming back to it just to see if you can beat your friend's score. Platforming is dead, long live platforming!

One for the lovers of fantasy RPGs with a difference. Witcher is an adult oriented story where it is never clear where the line between black and white starts or ends, but rather about the shades of gray your choices will paint.
