As a guitarist, this is a very entertaining tool to play songs that you already know or learn new songs.
There is ways to get a lot of custom songs for free through a thriving community called Customsforge.

Also you can use a lot of ASIO inputs, like external soundcards provide. Then you don't need the rocksmith cable (which has quite some latency for me)

great sim, super challenging, has most must have tracks like Nürburgring Nordschleife, zandvoort, all the F1 circuits and more. and easy to race with friends.
